Late winter pike has always been something I have wanted to get in on. I had talked with Woody about the late ice bite and he suggested I come on up in the later part of March,

March 22, 2010 I arrive at Woody's resort for a few days of chasing trophy pike.

Day one Woody, Garrett, one of Woody's guides and myself head out in the early afternoon after I arrive. For the remainder of that day I ice one very nice close to 40" pike and the average pike went 35".

The next day we were still icing some beautiful pike.
