First ice is upon us. With that comes some of ice fishings best action. For those subscribers that can take advantage of the Newsletter Special listed below I'm confident you will catch some dandy fish as upon check-in I will personally "mark up" (free of charge)your Rainy Lake map for whatever species you are targeting. Right now all you need is a hand auger, some ice cleats and a portable or a kids sled to pull your gear in. Today the weather is windy and cold (- double digits tonight) which is the best conditions to make ice. The snow storm is south of us and will miss us.
